Go to picture settings screen. Go to oled panel setting. Turn static noise off.
Turn tv off. Than hold power button down for 15-20 seconds. Tv will click and logo will flash a few times. Than turn tv on.
Turn tru motion off. Don't mess with it now.
All is perfect now.
What you did is a service reset without deleting your settings. Oled static noise or picture shift is what you turned off.
I'm not a engineer just have friends it the right places. This info was already talked about on different websites. I found out from a relative that works for LG. I was told there is a issue with the screen shift that makes things unclear or blurry. Lg was very worried about people complaining about IR that they wanted to have this option. Like plasmas had. They admitted to my nephew that works for LG these issues with the way these systems work together. They might have fixed it for 2017 models.
All I can say is my 65" e6 after doing this looks absolutely perfect and its motion is as clear as my st60. Vt60. F8500. E8000. Plasmas.
I didn't read every post. Maybe this was already talked about. I just thought it needs to be brought up as often as possible. I've done it on another e6, b6 and a g6. All of those people are super happy with their results. None of us have Harv any IR issues. I even left CNN on for 48 hours and had zero burn.
I'm a little confused here... What do you mean by "Turn static noise off"? In the OLED Panel Settings menu, I have an option called "Clear Panel Noise", which will run a manual comp cycle and a "Screen shift" setting (On/Off).
But I'm just not clear what you mean by "Turn static noise off"?
