Hoval Thermal Oil Heater

The thermal oil heater HOVAL TDO-TDO/V are machines which use the diathermic oil as the calorific fluid. The main characteristic of the mineral or synthetic oil is to have a high boiling point at the atmospheric pressure (about 400 -500 °C)

The thermal heater TDO-TDO/V are in monopoly version, horizontal or vertical, pressurized with three smoke passes, the tube bundle is wounded in a continuous spiral.

The first smokes pass takes place into the combustion chamber and the two other ones are between the tube bundles

For the coil construction, we only use high quality product such as the ASTM A 106 gr.B

The thermal heater HOVAL TDO-TDO/V is particular for the following reasons:

The thermal heater TDO is composed of a parallelepided combustion chamber room with many tubes. The perfect design allows a good circulation and a total absorption of the radiations due to the direct combustion.

On the high volume combustion chamber room is placed the flue gas area where the oil velocity has been decreased in order to reduce the oil pressure losses and either to reduce the power of the oil circulation pump.

The pressurized flue gas seal is made thanks to a strong body shell in steel with dilatation joints.
